Stain soaks into the wood and wears gradually, so it's easier to maintain. Paint and solid stain give more color coverage but can peel on walking surfaces. We'll recommend what fits your deck.
Walking surfaces often need a fresh coat every 2 to 3 years, depending on sun and product. Railings usually last longer.
Light foot traffic is usually fine the next day; give furniture a little longer. We follow the product's cure time and let you know before we leave.
